Anna Kolisz – a Paragon of XXI Century Polish Womanhood
An artistic and charity-focused ceremony took place on May 21, 2018 at the Radisson Blu Center Hotel, Warsaw. It was held for the benefit of Ewa Błaszczyk’s ‘Akogo’ charity. The event doubled as an official release for the unique ‘Polish Women Speak’ compendium and its companion documentary. The project was completed by Sebastian Skalski, sometimes referred to as the Polish Almodóvar of photography. His work focuses on a hundred Polish women with outstanding professional accomplishments, international and domestic business successes, and renowned for their philanthropic activities. The compendium commemorates the centenary of the Polish women’s suffrage, each person representing one year. The proceeds from the sales will go directly to ‘Akogo’. Anna Kolisz, a long-time supporter of the charity, decided to assist Mr. Skalski in his endeavor.
Over the course of the event, the participants in the project received elegant copies of the compendium, the charity president’s personal thanks, and megaphone-shaped statuettes representing the Polish women’s voice in all aspects of life.
Additionally, Mr. Skalski thanked Ankol for its patronage and support of the charity.
In addition to Anna Kolisz, a former Polish first lady, Jolanta Kwaśniewska, the renowned singer Irena Santor, and numerous other figures from the worlds of politics, culture and business also attended. They were entertained by Grażyna Brodzińska, Teresa Werner, Katarzyna Pakosińska and Renata Przemyk.
