On November 22nd in Barcelona, Ankol’s Managing Board participated in the Final Gala of the European Business Awards 2011 Competition.
On that day Barcelona has gathered true business elite. During the competition , regarded as the most challenging in the business world, 111 recipients of the Ruban d’Honneur award were selected from the whole Europe, within the program which comprised of 15 000 organizations from about 30 countries. The Prime Minister of Belgium and the juror of EBA Yves Leterme, together with Adrian Tripp, the President of EBA, have named 11 of the laureates, chosen from each category, “The Tigers of European Economy”, and they also rewarded them with EBA statuettes. Ankol , as the recipient of Ruban d’Honneur title in HSBC Import/Export category, has been awarded a Medal and a Certificate.
All the recognized enterprises, representing many different countries, sectors, and sizes, constitute the proof that in spite of the current economical weakening in Europe, exceptional organizations still exist, prosper, and grow in strength.
Participating in the process of this competition, together with the representatives of the best European business, is an honor and a great success for Ankol. The respectable distinction of Ruban d’Honneur is the testimony for the EBA jury recognition of achievements in export sector, and activities directed towards improvement of quality management, technology, innovation, leadership, marketing, or human resources management. It also confirms pertinence and purposefulness of the continuous improvement, permanently written into company’s politics, searching for knowledge, and new solutions which promise commercial success.
