On 28th September 2010, on the basis of criteria outlined in the Quality Culture 100 Total Quality Management Model, the managing board of Ankol issued the TQM QC100 Manual. For the present it serves as a superior document to Integrated Management System in the Organization.
Total Quality Management ( TQM) is the approach to Organizational Management, which focuses on 8 principles of quality management : customer minded attitude, leadership, every employee’s commitment, systems and process approach, ongoing improvement, taking into consideration facts and mutual beneficial relations with suppliers in decision making.
It is a philosophy based upon the concept that the CUSTOMER needs and the ORGANIZATIONAL goals are inseparable. It focuses on fulfillment of the customers’ needs and their expectations through involvement of the employees into the realization of the strategy and the organizational goals. TQM means improvement of the organization embracing every aspects and effects of its activity, management aimed at permanent quality improvement, work conditions improvement as well as the improvement of work methods and competence of the employees. The goal of TQM is to achieve customer satisfaction, optimize processes , ensure long term success and benefits for the organization and its members.
TQM has been implemented in the entire ANKOL ORGANIZATION, taking into consideration its environment, focus on satisfying the demands of the CUSTOMERS and management which aims at introducing a positive change to all the processes in the ORGANIZATION.
